I'm a student living near bishopthorpe st. I walk 30-40 minutes to get to York University. I would rather take the bus but it takes 15 minutes to get to the nearest bus stop (bus no. 4, either from tower st, or kent st.) so I might as well just continue walking for another 20 minutes.

If there was a bridge between the millenium and the two bridges near the city it would make a great shortcut!
