In recent months there has been an increase in crime in the area. We ask all residents to ensure that some simple security steps are taken, such as making sure all doors, windows, garages and sheds are locked at all times when you are out of view, even for a few seconds.
We would also like to remind residents to lock their bikes when not in use whether left at the shops, in the garden or in the garage. This are very simple steps but will help prevent further crime in the village as the majority of incidents have occurred when residents have left doors or bikes unlocked.
