Having spent much time this week talking to Yorkshire Water I can now disclose that there will be an internal Yorkshire Water meeting early next week to discuss the way forward.
A risk assessment will be discussed with an action plan in place for what will happen in the event of another sewer burst.
It is clear that until the new sewer is in place, the existing one has to be repaired and used again, even though it cannot cope with the pressure. Using tankers is not a long term solution.
Of course I will update you after the meeting has taken place.
