Hi guys, think this is a great site...and does a good job..
But thought I would let you know that there is a site that makes local communication really easy.
Might be worth taking a look at www.neighboursunited.co.uk
It has been running in Harrogate for a while and over 1,300 people are now registered with many more browsing it.
The site is just starting in York over the next few months..so you may find it complements Bishopthorpe.net quite nicely..

For example, whats happening with Field 84? I thought it was going to be made into an area for picnics and recreation.
