Panto Panic For Tickets

On Sunday morning, a healthy crowd packed the Ebor as tickets for this years' production of 'Franky Panky' went on sale. Within 2 hours Wednesday, Friday & Saturday nights were sold out and within 24 hours Thursday night joined them. At the time of writing over 630 tickets had been sold with only a few still left for Tuesday night and Saturday matinee, available at the Ebor.

It’s an interesting point Phil. Two years ago we did add an extra performance (Tuesday) to take our total to six. This, when added to the two full rehearsals which immediately precede Panto (Sunday & Monday night) make for a very long week for the cast and backstage crew which despite their undoubted talent, they are all still amateurs (in remuneration if not ability) with full time day jobs. In addition there are people in on Saturday & Sunday before Panto setting up the lighting and sound system which if we had more performances may require setting up earlier and so necessitating many of us taking additional days off work etc. Then there would be the knock on impact on the other users of the Village Hall e.g. the Badminton Club who use it on a Friday night. That being said all options do remain open, and thank you for your interest and hope you enjoy the show.

Then why don't you increase the amount of performances?
