We're Up!

Village site alive and kicking

Some people seem to think that this web site has been left to wither on the vine - but that's far from the truth. It's just that nobody has been contributing, so it looks fossilised. You are now looking at the new site, one that will be more dynamic and easier for us to update.

Our new look and feel will be evolving from now on, and will more closely resemble an ever-changing newspaper, and be much easier for contributors to use. However in many respects it will work in the same way. For instance the forums and the Village Calendar will still be there, and the email list won't be affected at all. The address www.bishopthorpe.net won't change either.

This new service will allow me to post information about the Bishopthorpe Millennium Trust and keep you up to date with its latest grants and projects.

This is great news, or at least it will be once we've organised it a bit! That should be done over the next few days and weeks, so that once the hols are over we should have a functioning village website again.

That in turn will mean those with regular news to report should be able to do so much more easily. Watch this space.
