Get Published

To publish your stuff you can:

    * Send or write a news or other story
    * Advertise your group activity
    * Advertise your business
    * Make comments on news stories
    * Start your own page or pages
    * Send in pictures
    * Put up useful documents to make available to others..
    * ...whatever you want.

To do this there are several ways:

   1. Become a regular contributor to the News and Views pages just use the contact form to sign up.

   2. To advertise your group or business, go to the Purple Pages directory, download a form and send it in. You will then get a simple entry in the database. Entries are free.

   3. Read the news sections, and in most cases, there is a comment section for each story. Just click on the Comments link, and follow instructions. Or Sign Up and become a story writer yourself.

   4. Would you like your own pages? Get in touch if you want to:
  • start a blog of your own news and comments, and create and amend your own stories
  • create a new section on the site.
   5. Bish dot net is always looking for new pictures. In fact, there is a special photo section. Just send your pictures (ideally in jpeg format approx 400 x 300 pixels in size) to mailstuff at bishopthorpe dot net.

   6. If you have a document - a notice, report, entry form, announcement, poster or whatever you want people to use - why not send it in (with a cover story) and it can appear on the news pages? Just send it to mailstuff at bishopthorpe dot net.

If you have any other ideas, just use the contact form
to start the ball rolling.
