Get Published

To publish your stuff you can:

    * Send or write a news or other story
    * Advertise your group activity
    * Advertise your business
    * Make comments on news stories
    * Start your own page or pages
    * Send in pictures
    * Put up useful documents to make available to others..
    * ...whatever you want.

To do this there are several ways:

   1. Become a regular contributor to the News and Views pages just use the contact form to sign up.

   2. To advertise your group or business, go to the Purple Pages directory, download a form and send it in. You will then get a simple entry in the database. Entries are free.

   3. Read the news sections, and in most cases, there is a comment section for each story. Just click on the Comments link, and follow instructions. Or Sign Up and become a story writer yourself.

   4. Would you like your own pages? Get in touch if you want to:
  • start a blog of your own news and comments, and create and amend your own stories
  • create a new section on the site.
   5. Bish dot net is always looking for new pictures. In fact, there is a special photo section. Just send your pictures (ideally in jpeg format approx 400 x 300 pixels in size) to mailstuff at bishopthorpe dot net.

   6. If you have a document - a notice, report, entry form, announcement, poster or whatever you want people to use - why not send it in (with a cover story) and it can appear on the news pages? Just send it to mailstuff at bishopthorpe dot net.
