Dementia Forward

Dementia Forward is a local charity supporting all those affected by dementia.

There’s a weekly wellbeing café held at Clements Hall every Friday afternoon to support local people who are faced with dementia issues. The charity is keen to let people know about this, and at the same time ask if there are people who would be willing to volunteer some of their time to help in the running of this service.
If you would like to be involved, please ring the office on 01904 692473

The sessions are known as:

Friends Together Fridays

The address is:
Clements Hall,
Nunthorpe Road,
York, YO23 1BW

The café operates every Friday afternoon, 1pm – 3pm, and aims to provide support for people with memory difficulties and dementia, along with their family, friends and carers.
Activities and games are available, or simply come and talk to others in a similar situation.

Dementia advisors are available to talk to.
