Bishopthorpe dot net breaks new ground today with the launch of a section devoted to local sports clubs and associations.
The new Sport category in the top menu takes you to the sports home page, and from there you can access pages for each of the sports clubs that are taking part.
The cricket club is the first of our clubs to have its own section, and we hope that other clubs will soon follow on.

I hope local sports teams will use this as a practical tool for announcing fixtures, cancellations/postponements, teams, etc.
